Description Tagged by SlingBlade87   who requested Shae. The interest in this character seems to be picking up speed. I wonder how long it will be before people start to wish they didn't know her...

Rules:
Post these rules.
Post eight facts about your character.
Tag eight other characters.
Post their names and their creator's avatar.

1.) Shae's greatest fear is to be controlled, and tends to let that fear get the better of her, pushing her to try and control anyone who gets close to her.

2.) Keeping her strongest abilities in reserve unless absolutely necessary, Shae prefers to be underestimated by her opponents. Her assignment to a master on Korriban proved rather difficult as she ended up killing four before finally being assigned to one that she was not able to defeat.

3.) Her favorite color is gold, specifically when used as an accent with black. Similar to her skin tone, she sees the precious metal and its worth as an extension of her own worth.

4.) Shae has only ever fallen in love with one person in her life, a young girl, Kesarah Dilligas.

5.) Shae was a very powerful assassin and thief, working for the Synvahla Syndicate. The Sith Empire trained her, but she never managed to find a place there. Rather than killing her, the Empire let her loose upon the galaxy, trusting her havoc and difficult to control nature to provide more benefits than costs.

6.) Her favorite hobby is painting. She focuses primarily on painting people who she deems most beautiful.

7.) Shae has no family. Though she had parents at one point of course, she has no memory of ever having anyone, her earliest memories being bounced from place to place as servant or beggar.

8.) Shae is a very powerful telepath, able to enslave the minds of entire groups of sentient beings. She is also fairly skilled at using Force Lightning and Force Telekinesis, but her primary strengths are in her Force Telepathy.

I refuse to tag people. Feel free to do this if you're interested.

Well, I hope you enjoyed learning a little more about Shae. You can learn more about Shae and my other OC's in my Original Characters Index .

Yes. They were lovers, secretly and then openly for a little over two years. Shae is an incredibly influential and arguably the most important part of Kesarah's past. You can read about her relationship with Kesa in Kesa's Character Profile here under the "Seduction of the Dark Side."
Character Profile: Kesarah Dilligas

Shae really is positively enchanting isn't she.

I can see how she might have gotten into the Dilligas household and can already conjure a few scenarios for exactly that thanks to this.

Very nicely done and thanks for taking the time to respond to my tag.

O: Beautiful on the outside, but evil twists her heart and mind.

Very interesting. This is a very complete list and she sounds like being a Sith is the perfect job for her.

She is not really a Sith in the traditional sense. She was trained by them, but her job, more or less, is working for the Syndicate as an assassin and thief. The Sith Empire keeps tabs on her, but mostly leaves her to do her own thing, trusting that she is smart enough not attack Imperial Forces and volatile enough to give any Republic forces trouble should they unwittingly cross her path.

Ah, I see. Makes her even more interesting in my opinion.

Okay I figured it out after a little reading so we can lay this to rest Crimsonight and JennKali

Sith Masters and Sith Lords are different titles in that most Sith once they reach a certain level of authority/power become Sith Lords (this is a different title from Dark Lord(s) of the Sith). However only those Sith who actively train others in the dark side of the Force are given the title of Sith Masters and they do not necessarily have to be Sith Lords to be a Sith Master.

Killed four Sith Masters, huh? Either they were pretty weak, or she's more powerful
than she looks.

Force Telepathy is a commonly underestimated strength. It is not difficult to skewer a Sith Master if you can invade their mind.

BornAngelAuthor In reply to AlairaArt [2017-06-27 00:16:30 +0000 UTC]

This is true. Though it should not be easy to invade the mind of a Sith Lord.

AlairaArt In reply to BornAngelAuthor [2017-06-27 06:17:41 +0000 UTC]

Point of clarification, she killed four Sith Masters, not Sith Lords

The only reason why she was able to was because it is rare for Force Sensitives to have a specifically strong aptitude in Force Telepathy. Even the mightiest of warriors cannot fight if their mind is invaded and neutralized. As an initiate without training, she was underestimated.

Alright, I may sound stupid for asking this but what's the Difference, in your opinion, between a Sith Lord and A Sith Master?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AlairaArt In reply to BornAngelAuthor [2017-06-27 08:33:46 +0000 UTC]

The difference is mostly in power. A good Jedi comparison would be Yoda as opposed to Obi-Wan. There are many Sith Masters running around in the Older Republic, but only a small handful of Lords. During most eras in Star Wars, there are only one or two Lords in the entire galaxy.

SlingBlade87 In reply to BornAngelAuthor [2017-06-27 02:04:45 +0000 UTC]

Really depends on the Sith Lord I'd think to dictate just how vulnerable they are to that sort of attack.

If anything I'd say the nature of most Sith would make them more vulnerable to it than not.

BornAngelAuthor In reply to SlingBlade87 [2017-06-27 02:07:09 +0000 UTC]

Well, that depends on the era of Star Wars. The Sith as a whole were stronger in the Old Republic, due to the amount of trials and in fighting they had to deal with at the academy, but I see how your point could be valid.

SlingBlade87 In reply to BornAngelAuthor [2017-06-27 02:09:12 +0000 UTC]

That's true, but I'm referring to the constant paranoia involved in being a Sith. There are very few points in a Sith's life (even the Old Republic Sith) wherein they are totally secure in their position and do not have to worry about being betrayed or undermined by their supposed allies.

That's a scenario ripe for manipulation by anyone who could muster the telepathic power to do so.

BornAngelAuthor In reply to SlingBlade87 [2017-06-27 02:22:54 +0000 UTC]

That's very true. Sith Paranoia played a huge part in the rule of two as well. The only way to feel completely secure was to know that you were more powerful than those that would oppose you. Many Sith went insane from the pursuit of more power. If you're a powerful enough telepath (like she is), it would be easy to manipulate your way to the top.
