But I keep getting pushed back down

At this point it's stubborn-ness

To make it through the day
Without tears
How can people expect
Me to stay strong
All of the time
And help them
With their work and problems
And deal with my own
And keep a smile on my face
I try

To speak up and let people know
But I'm silenced
Over and over again
I sit in the corner
Reading
Writing
Drawing
Anything to avoid
Human interaction
I try
So hard
But no one
Hears me screaming
