This happened for real (slightly paraphrased) in Doctor Who, season two, episode eight, "The Impossible Planet" -- a brilliant episode but with one of the most amusing cliffhanger resolutions I've seen. (This actually isn't an episode break cliffhanger -- it's a teaser-credits-episode cliffhanger, but same dif. ^_^)The old Doctor Who was made up of four to ten episodes per story, and the episode breaks were cliffhangers, naturally. Sometimes they had to be kind of arbitrary, along the lines of "Oh, no! The Doctor's dead!" *cue end credits* but then the begining of the next episode would be like, "Oh, no I'm not." and then they move on like nothing happened. XD

Yeah, I was creeped out by the episode (later on) but I genuinely hoped that it was going to be a comedic filler after hearing the Ood apologize. All in all, that opening was very ood.

This is one of my Fav stories of New Who.My second favourit after the Doomsday story of season twos stories.I just love it,it is an episode that has an cliffhanger for an beggining,then a two mid cliffhangers with the first death and then another mini cliffhanger when the Ood speaks together,then there is the actuall cliffhanger.Love it!!!
That starting always gets me pumped,then I LOL at the resulution.
Also most stories were just four parts.The war games were Ten,The first Silurian story was Six and who knows how long the Trial of the time lords was.All others were usually four parts,but under the Pertwee era there was about six episodes per story,but Davison had two stories that only had one cliffhanger,and ironicly I only find one of these stories good.The kings demons.

Don't take any offense by my advice, but your dialouge is just a tiny bit hard t follow. You seem to be writing in a script-style first-person view, which is all well and good, but perhaps you might fin some way to make it a little more coherent to the outside world (I have found as an author that what makes sens in my head doesn't always work on paper). Also, you might want to spell-check some of your work. Don't get discouraged, though!

I do, yes I do, I try to get as few wrongs first time I write the story then check it again, then I puplish it, then if I find wrongs I immeditely goes and edits and corrects it.
So by that last thing you said. Do you like my stories. I am not writing in a FP wiev I am rather writing it like thrird person. I got the idea of my first cliffhanger story from a fifth doctor story, can you guess witch.

I like the fourth, tenth and eleventh doctors the most for their sheer personality, third for his martial arts skills, eighth for his steampunkishness (despite his short-livedness) and second for his outer-space-hoboishness. And I'll have to have a little more time to read thourgh your stories before I can give you a solid opinion.

You have all time in the world, ecept that another story will be uploaded tommarow. I like 2 because that I readed a doctor who horroshope and I was the second one. I also like that he is so funny and quirky funny and yet he still can be serious sometimes. 5th because of his nice voice,his nice clothes and that he is so nice to everyoone he is also very friendly and he wears a freaking veggetable and he saves the universe. 7th and 8th because thier clothes and voices and wounderfully good acting. 9th isn't really liked that mutch by me because he is the darkest and most seriuos of the doctor, the least doctor doctor. 11th is great in every way and his music is awsome, espesially I am the doctor, yet there is one thing that keeps him from being my favourit. He isn't Ten.
10th what can you say more than allonsy and that he is great in every way.
