Assignment for Art Center College Of Design, 1982. Cover of the Oct. 1983 Iconoclast Magazine, published by the Foundation Of Human Understanding.

One of the last alien type creatures left in my archives, this was done for the same teacher, whose class I boycotted (to do more Sci-Fi related portfolio work) and, who was later to give me a job for the Constellation Records label (in this gallery)

In a situation filled with irony, this assignment was about depicting some kind of emotion (I chose anger), and ended up as a cover for a psychology/religious magazine, about that very subject! They (Foundation) actually helped me get through the darkest period, during which I was threatened with expulsion.

Instead of giving up or quitting (in anger), I got a solution to the problem (one free class to study Sci-Fi subjects), and, two of the "assignments" were actual real-time commissions, for NASA, doing the Venus Radar Mapper (in this gallery).
