From the card game "Star Of The Guardians", commissioned and published by Tracy Hickman & Margaret Weis, 1994

Earlier, in different posts and commentary, I had mentioned I did a lot of acedemic school work that involved blocks of colored collage paper to create 'designs'.

Years later, subjects like these allowed that experience to come to fruition. A "Weapon" card commission, with only the name and effect, I had to come up with something visually engaging, using shapes, color and design. So, in a way, this is something of an abstract work.
