Most of the Big 5's cards were.
Gansley also used Ipiria, which let him draw once simply by summoning it. (Level 3, btw.)
His MOST broken card, however? This one:
yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Ruklambaβ¦
And before you ask, YES, its effect can summon another copy of itself. This thing was beyond broken.Β

I know. Gansley's deck was BROKEN. And ya know the funniest part about all this? Gansley lost to a KURIBOH!

The fuzzball has helped its owners, time and again, defeat the most powerful of foes.
Kinda wonder what Kaiba was thinking calling it a bad card...

And Yugi didn't choose Kuriboh either. Kuriboh chose him.
In Yu-Gi-Oh, you choose Kuriboh. In Soviet Russia, Kuriboh chooses YOU.

Yeah, Kuriboh does seem to be... different than other cards to say the least. Almost a living thing. You could attribute this to Duel Spirits, but the others in a protagonist deck rarely take initiative on their own like this one does.Β
