Description The last Y6B built, the last steam locomotive manufactured for use by a Class 1 Railroad in the United States, and the last heavy freight locomotive manufactured in North America, 2200 was sadly retired after only 8 years' service in 1960 with years of life left and junked by 1964. She's seen standing under a coal loader at the train yard in Bluefield, West Virginia circa 1955.
