Description
Well this is what I’ve been working on for over a month! I hope you like it because Im rather proud! This is a scaled down version so you can see everything together but if you want to see the full version (well as close to the full version as I could upload!) to get a look at the details check out my scrap book, PLEASE! What can I say about it?? Well… ok I’ve hit a blank! So Ill just write the part this painting is of from my book… I hope some of you might read that too… so here it goes… (also I wanted to say Ive gotten much better since I finished this... check this out to see what I mean! [link] )

“This will be the deed that will bring me to greatness!” Commander Nis loudly proclaimed. He greedily rubbed his hands together as he thought of reporting to Emperor Shadow with General Grendal sulking behind him. “Yes, Ill finally be given my due and be promoted out of that fool’s sector. Grendal will regret sending me out to stop the advance of the Threan army.” Waving his hand down at the battle below the hill which Nis had place his command, “Send in the 2nd Reserves to reinforce the left flank.” He can picture it so clearly… the head of the so called “Prince of Threa” before him and the Emperor gesturing for him to be draped in the robe of victory.
“Wonderful!” Nis exclaimed.
“Yes sir, the battle goes well” replied his Lieutenant.
“What? Oh… yes it does”
Nis yanked the arm of the signalman, “Tell the 148th to press the attack, the Threan line is falling!”
The Wrath nodded an acknowledgement and begin waving the 148th’s flag.
“I don’t think Ill ever get used to being surrounded by damn mutes!”
“The Wrath, sir?”
“Of course, unless you're mute and you're talking to me with your damn mind! Wraths… they just…”
“At least they cant talk back, Sir” the Lieutenant interjected.
“Sure, and what’s with the leaf thing coming out of their heads? I never understood why that was there?”
“Sir, they are part plant and have you ever seen one eat?”
“Damned fool! They don’t have mouths!”
“Right, Sir. They use that thing on their head, I think, like a plant’s leaves…. Well that’s what I heard General Grendal saying”
“Damn the Wrath and Damn Grendal! After this battle I’m going to the top… the 2nd Army of The Green Sun! Mephistopheles’ army! Yep, I’m going to be big, next in line for …”
“Sir! Look! On our right flank! Horsemen riding out from the woods. They must have been hiding!”
“What!”
“Sir, they are heading for the rear… their going to cut us off from the rest of the army! We cant retreat!”
“Calm down boy! We’re not retreating. We are going to push through their center! Signalman! Tell…”
Suddenly a gray shadow rose fast over Nis’ body. He looked up to see something blocking the fading sun…
“What in damn Hell is…”
The Lieutenant was covered in blood and something had hit him in the face… A warrior had fallen on the command crew so fast that not even their guards had time to act… Nis lay dead with a black spear protruding from the face of this helmet and his hand had been severed… apparently the warrior had stabbed the commander and unsheathed its sword nearly at the same time… the Lieutenant realized Nis’ hand was what hit him…
A Wrath’s head rolled to rest at his feet…
With wide eyes, he looked up to see the warrior that had attacked them…
It was a woman…
Long brown hair and a equally long red skirt… her small body moved as if she walked on the very edge of the ground… with deadly intent she went among the best Wraths in this army… not one could land a strike against her, for when her blade turned on them it was as if a strong winter breeze had blown against a dieing tree… but instead of leaves… arms, legs, hands, feet, and heads blew away. During all of this the Lieutenant stood amazed… then he got a good look at her face… she had her eyes closed tight and she was biting her lip so forcefully it bled. “How could a woman so small be so… and she doesn’t even have her eyes open!”
He didn’t get to ponder long because her blade caught him in the knee causing him to tumble backward but even before he met the earth, his throat met the tip of her blade.
The Lieutenant’s head fell far from his body… and with most of the command guards dead, the woman walked up to the Green Sun Empire’s battle standard and slashed it.

Down at the bottom of the hill, the left flank of the Threan army was faltering… quickly Aster ran to reinforce them… then he heard a Threan yell above the clamor of battle…

“Look! There stands Meleena like a vengeful angel covered in the commander’s blood! Let us resolve to be victorious or die here today! Rally behind the Crimson Angel!”
