Description Vodník in Czech fairytales and mythology is a male water spirit living in ponds or rivers. He has a completely human constitution except for the webbed membrane between his fingers and his skin and hair are green. He wears coat with tails and hat with long ribbons. When he is outside his pond his wet coat-tails drip water. He has ability to change himself into fish or horse.
Vodník usually try to drown people when they swim in his pond or lure young girls on nice ribbons to the water. He then stores the souls of the drowned in porcelain lid-covered cups which are his most valuable property. Vodník usually smokes the pipe.

He is usually described as a ugly toad-like man but I think if he is able to lure young girls maybe he has also ability to change his appearance. So here is my version of the "Vodník".

Pret cool looking character...wild back-story, too!!  His finned ears & webbed fingers look pretty good!! I'd love to see if there's a cute female version of this amphibious being??

In old fairytales or mythology there is no female version of vodník. But in modern fairytales there are vodnice (= female vodník). So maybe it will be my next challenge
I was also thinking about Rusalka. It is female water spirit (or nymph) who seduces young men with her look or voice, lures them into water and drowns them
