YOU CANNOT PAINT OVER THEM!!! I would cry...

They may be ancient compared to what you're working on now, but never consider them to be unworthy of existence! They're marvelous, I assure you. Much better than I could do.

The right hock on the middle unicorn especially delights me. It's perfectly proportioned/muscled/shaded!!! 5x

So yes, if anything, you can finish it. Just don't paint over it, lol.

Thank you muchly. It's okay, I promise I won't paint over them, I swear after hearing how much you love them!

That is so very true. I suppose I see flaws because they're older works but you have an exceptional point. Thank you for your absolute sensibility.
I'm definitely sure that you could!

That's fantastic to hear! Wow! 5 stars...you're truly generous, thank you again .

lol! I won't, but since they are unfinished, I'll have to paint over some parts, but I'll try and keep them as close to as they originally are.

That makes me fell better, lol. Thank you!

Sometimes, I can be wise. Sometimes... Glad I enlightened you!

They're well-deserved!!!

That's awesome to hear! I'm sure they'll be real works of art when you're finished.

You're very welcome!

Absolutely, you certainly did . I'm sure people would be shocked at the barn where they're painted- especially the owner! She'd probably question my senses, lol. I have to think of that, but I was thinking wouldn't it be better to paint new ones? lol.

Thank so much again ! I'm delighted to hear that. I hope so too, they take quite some time to complete...one of my friends knows this quite well as she watched me paint them...over and over, repeatedly blending...

Indeed, she would! I think it would be incredible to paint a mural like that. I'm working on a mural project with a big group of teens right now (~Xaliandrea 's in the Mural Project, too), but it's more impressionistic and emotional than it is realistic. So no horses for me...

I don't know... I guess it depends on if you think you could do the concept more justice by finishing it or re-doing it. *thinks* I think it comes down to what YOU think would be best.

I can only imagine! Looks like a lot of time and effort went into those babies.

lol. Thank you muchly, it is indeed! Wow! That's so cool! I hope you can take photos of it to post when it's complete. No horses? That's tragic...unless you can incorporate your impressions and emotions of how horses inspire you perhaps...the movement, spirit, passion, strength...etc....

I was thinking I'd like to repaint them just to update them, as I know I can paint far better now...plus I just cannot stand any flaws, lol! But people do like them...so perhaps when I actually have them finished I'll be pleased with the results... Thanks so much for your positive feedback.

Oh yeah! I didn't realize they'd take quite so long, but I am a bit of a perfectionist, lol, especially when it comes to commissions . Thank you very much!

Oooh! I never thought of taking pictures of it... That would be awesome!
That's intriguing, I could somehow involve horses THAT way. How epic!

Me neither! Although, keep in mind, when YOU think there are flaws, all others see is flawlessness.
There you go! You could finish them and see if you're happy with the results. If not, you can revamp them.

And I as well. It's hard not to be a perfectionist when it comes to your own artwork. We're all our own worst critics!

Yes! I'd love to see it!
Absolutely, it may prove to be a rewarding challenge .

Thanks so much!

Exactly...I'm sure I'll like them far better when they're finished .

lol! That is so very true...it's impossible at times to not obsess over what we believe to be flaws and just concentrate on how the artwork is as a whole piece and the reception it receives from various viewers.

Indeed!

Exactly! It's so hard not to put your own art down when everyone else keeps lifting it up, lol. Life is crazy>

I've never seen horses illustrated so beautifully. Their muscles and form have been done so detailed. Hope you were just kidding about painting over them.

Wow! Thank you very much, I'm ecstatic to hear that!
Well, partly kidding as they're a bit old and I've just recently started to paint them again...lol.

Your wonderful comment has certainly changed my mind though...

I have some more photos of the mural in my gallery. Thanks so much again!
