This is the captains table, to get to the captains table you need to 1. Be a lifer, or 2, have the 400 day vet award, i am neither. How did I get here? Brilliant use of in game mechanics. Is it a big thing? No, cause there's not much in the captains table other than a nice social hang out.Related content

I'm a lifer, and I have to say, yeah, there really isn't anything at the Captain's Table. Would be nice if they had special vendors there that sold special items and equipment for energy credits that could not be found anywhere else in the game. I can't remember the last time I was there.

That would cause an unfair balancing issue with the game, and considering the C-Store already putting a few people at a disadvantage, that's the last thing Cryptic needs right now.
At best, the CT could possess something cosmetic, like... Similar to the Ambassador visits as DS9, the CT could have visits of famous Star Trek characters still alive in 2410, like Picard, Riker, Janeway, etc.

You never know. Could one day. Either way, I doubt they'll even go with your idea, cause I have a feeling they don't really have much planned for the CT in the near or distant future.

There I can agree with you. From what I've heard or seen, the CT has been pretty much ignored since it was implimented into the game.
