Description ha i love this scythe!
well its kind of a heavy weapon, Alat is trying to find out a way to wield it, but i guess this way is not good neither...

im trying to use some different source of lights for the eyes on this pic, but im not sure if i like it this way better
and the background is a photo i took near home

Alat the dragon belongs to me, , and the copyright is on the art...

Awesome I've been working with blender for almost 2 years, maybe about that by now and still haven't gotten very far with it. You seem to have a real talent with the program, and I enjoy seeing what's new that you come up with now and then.

I absolutely love the render and the background for this, and must say you did an excellent job with the whole thing.

Just one question - What or how would you recommend starting with to get characters to interact with objects? I heard it's something to do with extra armature pieces and such, but I never did figure it out. Sorry about the question if it's too much of a trouble to answer. Ignore it if you want. XD

Anyways, I'll stop typing before I end up hurting myself It's late (or should I say early? 1:15am..) and I'm a little bit insane.

well the only things that my characters have are an armature and an armature modifier that links the model with the armature.
but yeah, in what it is the inside of the armature, some bones do not necesarily interact directly with the mesh, for example, i have two elbows and knees bones, that the only thing they do is to tell where the elbows and knees will point at, some other bones in the legs have "ik solver" constraints that are very useful when posing and animating, and i added some extra leg-bones in my dragons's legs with "copy rotation" constraints with the legs as targets to add smothness when posing and animating.
