Druid riding on a great hawk.I painted this one in all color from the beginning (instead of black and white and adding colors over it)- first time since last summer..
And you thought I learned to control my over saturated color problem with this image [link] ! NOPE

Oddly, this brings in a slight feel for the miss whom I wish to make my misses(she's Phantastic, just to know). Excellent detail and such.

Very cool piece, though I do feel the hawk should be a bit larger if it's going to bear her weight easily.

You're totally right, my bf told me about 50 times while I drew this that the hawk needs to be bigger. I did make him quite a bit bigger, but I don't want to make him any bigger now as I'd have to make her smaller in the piece (and she's already pretty small)... soo.. it's druid magic that keeps them from careening in to a mountain!! -_-;;
