It is amazing how almost robotic this spider looks. It is like Apple designed an iSpider. Anyway, nice shot. I really like that you took the time to have a nicely colored background. It seems in macro photography there is frequently a trade-off between getting the subject well lit and having an dramatic background, and I think the pink color mitigates this problem nicely. If the background was plain black, I am not sure this photo would have the same impact.
