Hi all!
This is Stiltzkin model, the traveling moogle Final Fantasy IX. I started based on his conceptual art from the game, but as I went forward I went giving him little by little my style, so I did more stylized and less big headed than the original. Also in the game appears without hands or feet, so I had to create some. For my feet based on a fox's ones and hands on mini bowser from Super Mario saga.
The idea of this character came to me when I see a Chopper One Piece in 3D, so I also wanted to make a character style pet. So I got this moogle thinking, which for me is the most charismatic and more fun to recreate form the game. In addition to Final Fantasy IX is my favorite game and always wanted to do something related to the game.
I also wanted to practice with the organic character modeling, so I chose to create this before with more human characters, plus I wanted to experiment with the "fur" of Vray to create you hair.
The truth is that I'm happy with the result, and especially because this is only the first part of a project that I'm continuing.

Este el modelo de Stiltzkin, el moguri viajero de Final Fantasy IX. Empeze basandome en su arte conceptual, pero a medida que fui avanzando en el le fui dando poco a poco mi estilo, por lo que lo hice mas estilizado y menos cabezón que el original. Además en el juego aparece sin manos ni pies, por lo que le tuve que crear unos. Para los pies me base en los de un zorro y las manos en las de mini bowser de la saga de Super Mario.
La idea de hacer este personaje me surgió al ver un Chopper de One Piece en 3D, por lo que yo también quise realizar un personaje estilo mascota. Por lo que pensando me vino este moguri, que para mi es el mas carismatico y mas divertido para recrear. Además que Final Fantasy IX es mi videojuego favorito de siempre y quise hacer algo relacionado con el juego.
Tambien quise practicar con el el modelado de personajes orgánico, por lo que preferí crear a este antes de ponerme con personajes mas humanos, además de que quise experimentar con el "fur" de Vray para hacerle el pelo.
La verdad es que esoty contento con el resultado, y sobretodo porque este es solo la primera parte de un proyecto que estoy continuando.
