I love the last panel. Not only does it show Scar's unexpected reaction, it also shows Sarafina's acting skills. You can tell that she's forcing herself to act this way for the good of the pride.

Okay, my prediction!
Mheetu is the result of this and will be Zira's rival like Mufasa was to Scar, she'll kill him and Sarafina in scary desperation to get her father's attention, she'll have Kovu from a traumatic encounter with Mnyama at some point then Scar will take advantage as always and try to find use in her daughter's hurt, Kovu is declared the heir and Zira succeeds finally... then Simba returns and she loses it all, again.Β

Yeah, i just feel like it makes a lot of sense, would put more perspective on her describing in the Lullaby sequence of TLK II how the Outsiders used to have 'power' under Scar, since she's made it clear since she was a cub that she'll do anything to get her father to notice her, i'm sure she'll end up finding loyalty to Scar again and she'll be forced to remember how Nala's family has basically stolen her place in the kingdom, and she'll do anything to get daddy's love back ... even kill.Β Β

Been awhile but Iβve finally come back to this comic! Annnd things have just gotten worse and worse... Poor Sarafina being forced to do this... Scar has become such a nasty creep itβs infuriating... Itβs tragic thinking back to how kind he was as a cub... but after all the pain heβs caused everybody, itβll be great to see him get his just desserts... Iβm just terrified about how this is gonna turn out for Sarafina... and at that reference to Moyo... I wonder if sheβll find out what Scar had done to him...
Your style was already great and it has just improved so much itβs astounding. Something youβve taken to doing with the eyes makes them seem very vibrant? Β I think itβs the solid lines for them... but I canβt place my finger on it... Gonna keep reading to catch up more!

Seriously tho, I'm really sorry for Fina. No one should have to fake love and more importantly, no one should be put in a position in which they need to "sell" themselves and give up the autonomy over their own bodies just so they can protect someone else. It's just like what happened to Diku and Dwala back in Eastland Chronicles. I doubt Sarafina would ever really want to mate with Scar, and considering everything, it's highly likely that it'll come to that. It makes me a little sick that she has to go through this, she deserves much better : (
