Something I've been working in between working on some lengthy commissions...

I believe it was 2017 when I last gave my shot at designing cubs for Kiara and Kovu. This is my third time redesigning them ever since I uploaded my first concepts ages ago, probably over 12 years now. My oldest designs are archived, but I'll post them in a stash link here for you to view (prepare to cringe at old art sta.sh/222aqdh2o8vp?edit=1 ).

You might see that there are some familiar names in there; Dahlia and Dumaka. I first made the original siblings before I started FOOP, and ended up stealing those names for characters in the comic as I assumed I would never actually do anything Kiara's Reignish. Amadi was the main character of the trio back then, and he was designed to have an very small, incomplete mane as an adult back then. When I decided to randomly redraw them I changed Dahlia's name to Nuru, and Dumaka's name to Tambo. I also at that point changed Amadi's design... As you can see, I changed it back to be more similar to what it was originally. Nuru and Tambo have some minor changes. I will likely be sticking with these designs from here on out.

Each sibling has at least one trait from a parent (if not more) and one trait from a grand parent (if not more), and some of them a great grand parent... Can you guess which ones?
