I haven't written a critique before, but this piece really caught my eye. I felt there was a sense of loneliness, perhaps emanating from her slightly sad expression, or from the fact that she is stood alone in this huge landscape.
I really love the brightness of the image, which I think makes it stand out from a lot of other fantasy manipulations (that tend to be more focused on the Gothic side of fantasy). The sense of melancholy contrasting with the beautiful colours makes me wonder if there's a narrative to go with this.
Your editing skills are clearly very refined, as this piece demonstrates. I like how you've added the shadows of the dandelions onto her dress, and I love the rays of light from the sky falling across the background. The colour scheme is probably my favourite thing about this image, and I think you've chosen your colours really well. The combination of the contrasting bright blues and autumn reds and oranges is absolutely stunning, and creates a really warm image.
If there is one thing I might comment upon negatively, it would be the joining line where the bottom of the field meets the rest of the background. There's something about it that looks definitely edited, but it isn't noticeable unless you stare at it for a long time, as I have been doing whilst writing this critique e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let… " width="15" height="15" alt="
