I wanted to draw that weirdly adorable smile the Doctor had in 'The Zygon Invasion' when he asked Osgood which one she was. I'm pretty happy with the result
I think Twelve's smiles are so endearing because it's rather unusual for him and it does look like he's out of practice...

Very cute. Yep, that's definitely his dorky smile.
He doesn't get enough opportunity to show it onscreen, but I think Capaldi is actually one of the youngest Doctors. He's got this inner 20 year old that pops out.
