Some years back here in Florida, I used to play a fair amount of 2-man volleyball out on the beach. Unlike the normal volleyball (i.e. 6 players to a side), it is difficult to cover the entire court since there are only two players. Consequently, except for the highest levels of competition between experienced players (like you see on television), hard spikes with a sharp downward trajectory are not all that common for average people playing 2-man. For non-professional atheletes playing 2-man, the team that wins is usually the team that has the best footwork, plays the best defense, and makes the fewest mistakes. Often the smaller but faster, better-coordinated players can actually have an advantage over taller, slower moving players.
Of course, in your drawing, the girls are obviously much stronger and in much better cardiovascular condition. They'll mop up the court with those guys.

Yeah, I know what you mean. But even beach volley, players heigh is important, so taller players get advantage. In this pic second man is scared because he realised at she is going to hit the ball straight towards him over the net.

LOL - yeah, I really like the less-than-manly cowering posture you gave him.

I like sportswomen a lot! Volleyball and basketball are great sports for tall girls! but from the angle in this pic, I can't see the size comparison very well!
