Though it really brings to question if you really have to die to be taken by the Entity, because im fairly sure this character didnt die in her story, or did she?

Idk tbh most characters taken never die, such as Freddy, Michael, Herman and for survivors, Laurie, Meg or Nea.
The only ones who died/nearly were:
Tapp, David, Adam, maybe Jane, Rin, Sally, Bubba, etc.
I guess Adiris almost died but sucomed to the plague and hence her appearence resembles that of the ill but still living
