Personality: This mare is both every bit the chestnut mare and not one at all. She has the fiery temper and headstrong behaviour associated with them, but none of the maliciousness. She isn’t mean or snappy, just easily aggravated by other horses and occasionally people that don’t respect her very clear set boundaries. She is a great little eventer but dressage is definitely her strong suit, as she can get easily distracted when on the cross country course. Generally a very safe pony, she’s suitable for intermediate and above riders as long as she doesn’t intimidate them.
History: DJ competed in France for most of her life, but ended up retiring slightly early to have her first foal. After she rejected the foal she was sold on, and has found her way back to a more active lifestyle.
