Description

“Actually... I know... We're not safe here, either...That's how life goes, I guess. There are some things in life that you can't change no matter how hard you try.”

---

Cremia and Link at the end of the Romani Ranch questline late on the 3rd day as the moon creeps ever closer. Her dialogue is heartbreaking as despite Link saving the ranch, it’s all for nothing. And it will always be futile. Termina will always be doomed until he can gain enough power to break the cycle and prevent the moon from falling...

It’s been a very long time since I did Zelda fan art. The series had tremendous influence on me growing up, especially the N64 to GC era. And although you might never guess based on most of my past work, Majora’s Mask is actually my favourite game of all time. It’s weird, dark and melancholic, with a deliberate feeling of dread that is hard to shake. I completely understand why people may prefer some of the other Zelda games but this one has a certain complexity and intensity that I doubt we will ever see again from Nintendo.
