Most days I sit and stare and wonder,
in desperate dreams I yearn and fall.
One sodden scout preludes my cheek,
before the rain begins to pool.
Some hours go by and I can breathe,
saunter and smile in reprieve. -Alas-
Black nimbus thoughts form up ahead
and soon they cloud my busy head.
This haze will never let me be free
my storm maintains its dominion over me,
for in my mind we made it through,
but in reality, I'm drenched.
