big groupshot!just had to do this one because it would've been cheap to paint the final battle between only vigil and plague, ignoring anyone else.
virtus and philosopher are absent because they are staying with angel during her final moments!

Why would I be annoyed that Virtus isn't in this group shot again?
The only way I would have been annoyed would have been about Aella appearing in the group shot, when she has been knocked out cold earlier on. But I guess enough time has passed since then for her to come out of unconsciousness though. ^^

the more i think about it the better i feel about the decision to paint that groupshot, because every classic big blockbuster crossoverevent in the history of comicbooks had the heroes gather before being kicked in the butt

i asked kostmeyer before starting to draw which heroes are out of the picture and he wasn't sure with tropic, so i rather did not put him in to avoid a continuity fuck-up XD

Wow. It is very foolish of all these heroes to turn up. Don't they know of the Ninja rule? Fight against a thousand ninja's and you'll slaughter them all. Fight against one ninja, and he'll be the meanest son of a gun you've ever encountered. Right now Plague is that single Ninja!
Another nice page man. Glad to see all the heroes gathered, an amazing shot with Canadian still showing his true leadership qualities. You really out did yourself with this image and I have a feeling there is more to come, really glad you put Blaze in there too. Looks like she's all healed up for the final fight
