Ever since he/she first appeared, I saw him/her as a boy... especially since he didn't have eyelashes in that sequence..
and wiki isn't always right >.> Once it told me Flaky from Happy Tree Friends had a boyfriend named Spike... O___O"

There are mistakes - it's animation mistakes most of the time, that's where Derpy's eyes first came from. Animation mistake, but in the end the editors went along with the fans and left Derpy with derpy eyes.
It may not be right, but in Luna Eclipsed, Raindrops certainly had eyelashes. Not only that, but stallions have a different body than mares. Even without eyelashes Raindrops would have been a girl. Take a look at Doctor Whooves, Big Macintosh, Braeburn, and so on. Their heads are different. That's why it's easy to tell boys and girls apart / stallions and mares apart. c:

true, but then there was a background pony who was clarified as a boy, I forgot his name, but he had the girly face, it's just the feminime face....

Well either way, Raindrops is my favorite background character and he/she needs more love.<3

I guess so, I don't mind. Dash is awesome, everypony is awesome. Though I'd rather have a Pinkie episode because Pinkie and Raindrops are best ponies. c:

It's her...everything the whole package of her mane/tail/eye/coat/cutiemark all together just work well I love Derpy I love Raindrops too or maybe the answer is the same as why you love Raindrops.
