Description This image has been created in UF, but in my own way. The creation of this image went through three stages. First the background was created and then rendered. The spiral then was rendered in a different image. The marbal was borrowed from one of my previous images. Then all images were assembled in PS. I still believe it is fracatal art, and if one believes otherwise, then it is their business. My advice for all my friends who are in my level is that don't always believe these big fractalists that their work is always purely created in UF

"I do think that an image that exceeds more than 10 layers is a waste of time" The "I do think" part qualifies the rest of the statement as an opinion, which is not a blanket truth.
Nobody is criticizing you, your art (which is often stunning), or your methods. I do believe what he says applies to SOME of the people who post fractals, and I'd have to agree, fwiw.

Sorry, but this part "don't always believe these ... fractalists that their work is always purely created in UF" of his description is directly impugning my integrity as well as that of others who create many-layered images in UF. I consider that to be, at the very least, a criticism.

By agreeing with him, you set yourself up to be painted with the same brush.

And that's my last word here.

This is beautiful!! Pure program manipulation is one thing................art is another!!! After all, it's end result that becomes art........not how you go there!

it would be like saying a car is no longer a car because parts were made at one factory and assembled at another
it s a fractal, and a great one too!!

I love the background, it looks like shallow water over sand with a bit of wind disturbing the surface. And you have shells as well! I like it, it feels good.

I'm not sure what you mean by big fractalists. Do you mean the ones with the big mouths who think purity is more important than the finished image. Maybe I'm naive or just making excuses for my lack ability to use 99 masked layers in each image, but when I look at art, I look at the total, the impact of the whole.
This image is beautiful enough to pop off the page at me, to make me stand back and take it in, and to make me smile. Well done

Incidentally, if the parts are all fractal, then what difference would the mode of assembly make? Its a fractal.

I'm kinda pissy about so many judgmental "artists" here. There is so much beautiful stuff in so many galleries that it makes no sense to me to be so picky and superior.

And thanks for the fave

"Maybe I'm...just making excuses for my lack of ability to use 99 masked layers in each image"

Sounds just like sour grapes to me.

You got it right...Yes I mean those who "think purity is more important than the finished image." I do think that an image that exceeds more than 10 layers is a waste of time. I read once that one person had more than 300 layers in one image!!! I think the challenge is to create a nice image with the least number of layers!

Thank you so much for this nice comment, and I am very pleased that you support this image

You criticize fractalists like me who use many layers to create their images and tell people "don't always believe these big fractalists that their work is always purely created in UF ".

My big images are made only in UF, whether you believe it of not and I'll be happy to send you the params of any of my images to prove it, too.

My work isn't a 'waste of time', it's pushing the program to do what people didn't know it could do.

You judge those who use many layers and then say you don't like the purity of your images to be judged...that's hypocritical at best.
