Celestia steps up as ruler of Equestria to fight a threat for the 1st time in 2 seasons (not counting any back-story) and gets defeated by 1 beam? A bit anti-climatic, She totally COULD have done better. Maybe a few misc. spells from each of them... But what'cha gonna do?
All we can do is forgive her, tell her she did her best and not to worry because everything worked out, and throw a party (Call in Pinkie for this one, we're gonna need the Party Cannon).
