I absolutley love almost every clown (except the evil ones..) but sad clowns were always my favourites...
I don't know why people are so afraid of clowns... But the reality is that some people ARE, and photos like this shows them that behind that white makeup that "scares" them so much, there's also a person, a human being, with feelings, fragility, and beauty...

its gud with the lighting and all..but i guess it could look better if someone else was painting his face..rather than himself and that if he colud have a more tortured face...u ko daqt cud futher direct the feeling...

This is absolutely gorgeous - and while I find larger frames a bit distracting in portraits - the way you've created this suits it perfectly. Gives it a very polished look I think

I live in Belgium, and every year at the end of the performing season of the opera of brussels, they opera organises an small concert in open air at the grand market.
Normally, this is a bunch of known classical tunes. However, a few years ago, they decided to do "Il Pagliaci" in it's whole on stage.
Off course, there could be no costumes like this, but it was amazing. The tenor who performed "Vesti La Giubba" got such a great applause, they could not continue playing untill he came on stage to thank the audience again

A very interesting piece that shows the true character of one in their own private time. I suppose this could be interpreted in many ways, but at the end of the day we wipe away our social face and reflect our true selves. Excellent work and congratulations on the DD!

I love all this series but my favourite is perhaps this one, mostly due to his expression and the fact that he is removing the makeup, as if he were leaving aside a mask. Bravissima!
