Second artwork. More like the signature.

Vision: As in my previous critique, this girl is pretty nice. Her hair flows very much with grace, and yes, her outfit is very nice. Her smile's much better. The background tells much more of a story. The chalkboard full of drawings are excellently done.
Originality and Technique: Whether you used Paint Tool SAI or Adobe Photoshop, the artwork stays better and nicer. And you drew even better.
Impact: I stand corrected. I'm still very impressed about this one. Still made me feel very much happy.

I have such a hard time naming my characters too. Especially my "kids", favorite characters, and personal characters(ones that will have re-occuring roles for a long time) lol
I like having some sort of backstory or meaning as to why I chose the name. Or, finding a name with a meaning that fits the character. Brooke and Deanna were middle names that I used based off of names related to my cousin who passed away. Brooke was his girlfriend's name and Dean was his middle name, so I made my own female version to come up with Deanna!
Evalynne was a name that I've always been in love with! I don't remember how I found it, but I did make up the spelling myself. And Jessie was named after the character with the tv show of that name, because her hair resembled Jessie's.
Anya and Dmitri are both from the movie Anastasia. It was my favorite growing up Along with tons of other Disney movies! hehe

I always think about if I would want to have a character named after another famous character, like Rosalie and Ronnie. I didn't know Rosalie was a 'famous' name, but I did name Ronnie after the Ronnie in 'The Last Song'.
Also, I personally don't care for naming characters after friends of mine. Close friends, mind that. Otherwise I would have very few names to choose from XDD lol
Or a common name. I always find that unique names are lots of fun, because then you can tell your friends how you came up with that name or how you found it

So Makenzie can make a good name for her. And even adding a cute nickname can turn a 'common' name into something unique!
- Ronnie is a nickname for Veronica
- Ella is a nickname for Evalynne
- Anya is a nickname for Anastasia
- Kat is a nickname for Kaitlynn

I have a friend named Makayla that I call Makkie May I also know a Mackenzie who goes by the name Makkie. It might not be spelled that way, but that's how I spell it. lol
