I had so much fun coloring. So much FUN.
The background really does the trick I think. Took a while to get it right.
Notice: The details on Ezio's side of the 'coat' are black in teh lineart, but here they're white. Why? Because that's how they're supposed to be

Yes, one would, but it's to keep the overal flow of the picture smooth, as you can see, the belt doesn't stop in the center either, just like the strap of Ezio's cape etc.
