there is a special category under artisan crafts for jewelry and costume kind of things. You might think about switching categories.

I know.
The thing is I switched it from there, as it's not a jewel nor actual part of a costume. It's more like an assembeled...decoration.

nice work, there are a few ways to attach stuff to mental.
- scratch the surfaces you want with sandpaper or something sharp then use a glue for metal, like epoxy. but be careful to to sand down areas you don't want to glue stuff to, its a pain to get mental smooth again.
-drill holes into the mental where the stuff will go to weave and knot underneath the mental to tie the objects on the mental. you can even use really small drill bits and just sew the stuff on though the holes. just make sure to dent the areas you are drilling first so the drill doesn't slide and scratch the mental.
anyway have fun costume making, I wish I had the time to make costumes but I usually have to stick to things that can be wore in all the time.

Was this a costume for a convention? I used to cosplay. No money now, though.

That's very awesome, but It's not called an 'armshield.' It's either called a "vambrace," or "bracer."
