Just watched the fight today. That's why I had this in mind when I read policewoman from Braunschweig.
Really hard to tell who won the fight. A draw would have been a fine result, I think.
Do you know about the negotiations before the fight? Delfine told about them later. They said if she won the
fight she must give a rematch. When Delfine asked whether she would get a rematch if Katie won the answer
was no. It was not a fixed fight, Delfine went there and she WANTED to win. Not like the fighters that Katie
had before. Even the commentators had Delfine in front on their scorecards. I'm not sure, not saying that she
won, but she didn't lose either. I think the first judge had it right. Draw. Not sure if the other refs were biased
or paid off.

I had the fight 96-94 for Delfine. Canβt see it another way. I think it is close, but also very clear. There is no way Katie won 5 rounds.
... and Iβm a Katie fan. I just know that she deserved to lose, and that she shows exceptional character by wanting a rematch.

She was done after the final bell. One or two more rounds and she might have gotten knocked out. Delfine looked like she could go another ten.

Wow... this one really leaves me with mixed emotions.Β It's great to see Anna's hand lifted victory, and it has to feel great for her, too.Β But the level of her competition was a stark reminder of all she's lost.Β I'm not saying it feels wrong.Β Nothing she accomplished before can be considered legitimate... but she's really had to go all the way back to the bottom.
Of course, it's a testament to her character that she wants to work her way back up instead of disappearing into the background.

Corruption doesn't haunt Anna anymore. She knocked Masae out. She handled a tough journeyman well. That's it.

For someone with pink hair, she does love pink A LOT! To answer Anna's question.

Don't mess with policewoman Hilda!Β She doesn't need a weapon on the streets, her fists are weapons enough .Β I do have great sympathy for the journeywomen like Hilda that pursue the sport in the hardest fashion possible, fighting boxers above their level.Β The sport needs people like her.Β
"Boxing is difficult enough; nothing feels dumber than watching a replay of an exhaustion-induced knockout."
- I can only imagine watching a fight back when you lost only because you were too gassed to raise your arms to keep your guard up.Β Depressing.
Anna really clocked Hilda with that right hand in the last round.Β To take a punch like that in the last round and stay standing...that's an achievement...and that's toughness.
The scores in this fight tell the story.Β Anna was never really troubled in her victory.Β It's a good win, but one that is expected.Β I do wonder what Anna's path is now, considering she has fought her way back to respectability...
