Characters were badass but had enough complexity to them to make them interesting, fan service was off the charts but didn't get in the way of the story, had an element of horror/thrill to it but also had humor! Man they really had something going I wonder why they never added to it?

If I remember correctly, at the end of the OAV they say something like "See you in the next season (or the next time)". Maybe something is really going on.
