I’ve just finished the second piece of my new series of drawings inspired by a song I’m currently in love with.
Poor Sherlock, he looks a bit sad… but this won’t be the saddest piece of the series.

Ooh! Very well done! Absolutely astounding! I hope you all don't mind but I'd like to post a little part of my fanfic on here. A bit of brainstorming, really. Though, I should probably warn you. It's a very solemn part and may move you to tears. Also, if you're interested in reading any more of my Sherlock stuff, check out my gallery! Also, I'm working on posting the entire fanfic this is from on Archive of Our Own. It's still a work in progress, but the next chapter should be up soon. I call it Stairway to the Skies. Now, without further ado, let's begin.
Silence. Almost.
Sherlock Holmes stood by a window, listening to sounds of torrential rain drumming endlessly against the windows. Winds howled, thunder roared, and lightning split the heavens in a violent clash. A perfect representation of the battle he fought within himself. Pain. Loss. Grief. Each emotion struck harder than the last, drowning him in the vast ocean of despair. It seemed almost impossible that John had been here a few hours ago. If only he could go back to this morning. Maybe then there would be some chance that he would still be here. But he wasn't, and there was nothing he could do to change that. He shut his eyes, recalling the final words they had spoken to one another.

"Sherlock, you have to promise me something."
"What is it?" Sherlock had asked, dreading what the answer might be.
"You have to promise you won't come looking for me."
"What?"
John bit the inside of his lip, fighting back tears.
"If you try to find me, they'll kill you," he explained in a shaky voice. "And not just you. Everyone we know. They'll all be killed. Please, can you do that for me?"
Sherlock couldn't believe what he was hearing."No," he said quietly. "No!"
"Please, Sherlock! I'm begging you! I can't lose you again!"
"No!" Sherlock shouted. "Y-You can't leave me, John! I...I love you!"
John gasped. Even though he was on the opposite side of the street, Sherlock could clearly see the tears in his eyes. But it was the expression on John's face that stayed with him even now. Sherlock had never thought it was possible to see a person have their heart broken and overwhelmed with happiness at the same time, but that was exactly what John had looked like when he'd at last heard the words he'd been waiting for.
"I...I love you too, Sherlock," he'd finally answered back. His voice broke, and tears began to run freely down his face. "That's why I have to do this. I'm sorry."
"No, don't!"
"I'm sorry, Sherlock. Goodbye."

Sherlock opened his eyes, feeling a single tear fall from his eye. More soon followed, and Sherlock found he no longer had the strength to stand. He slowly sank to his knees, before tipping his head back to let out the most terrible scream anyone had ever heard. It was barely distinguishable as human; more like the mournful cry of a wolf that has lost its mate; a ghastly shriek that came from a torn soul. Eventually, with a body numbed by grief, Sherlock passed out on the cold floor. Above him, the storm continued to rage; seeming to scream the single name Sherlock held most dear.

Okay, I wonder why the hell I still haven't watched you. Let me fix that right away. All of your pictures are simply gorgeous - not only do they look really realistic, but they have so much emotion and just look at that lighting! The bright window and Sherlock standing in the darkness with the light just showing his silhouette. It's breathtakingly pretty. That window looks like magic!
