Wow! I knew the finished version was going to be a masterpiece but even so, this went way above my rather high expectations. This is officially the best picture of my original characters drawn for the month as well as the year so far, and it is going to be incredibly hard to top. This is a picture that I've wanted to do for a long time, and boy were you the right artist to go to for this. Let's get the usual praise out of the way first. As with every artist who has drawn Kokoro dressed like this you made her look beautiful, strong, cute and dignified even if she's wearing heart print underwear. But like with every single person who has drawn her you have added your own unique touches, and that's where this picture really shines. This is easily one of the most polished pictures I have ever seen. It looks like an official manga illustration. Kokoro's trademark favorite underwear has seldom looked better. And this is easily one of the top 5 portrayals of Tadashi. I'm not exactly an expert on male beauty, but I know enough to say that you not only made Tadashi handsome but also in the exact way I want him to be. His handsomeness is more subdued. He doesn't look like one of those incredibly manly men you see on the covers for romance novels, but at the same time he is far from plain-looking. I always wanted Kokoro's husband to be as attractive as she is, and one of my biggest fans said that I accomplished that with his design. Speaking of designs, you also did a wonderful job rendering his boxer shorts and weapon. Despite being the first time anyone has ever drawn them there is no need for any changes in future pictures. His boxers really fit him both in color and in the print as he likes to write. And his weapon is incredibly cool. The crowning touch to this true work of art is their expressions. As with everything else they are spot-on. They look like a loving couple with their own thoughts going on besides love. Tadashi looks slightly embarrassed as this is his first time fighting in his underwear but he is bolstered by Kokoro's look of confidence which practically screams "You can do it hubby!" I can just feel the strong connection these 2 share in every way and they way their swords connect just seals this feeling.  You drew the characters so well that they would automatically negate a missing or flawed background, but you made that look perfect too.  The fortress by itself looks great and you enhanced it by ivy growing across it.  I’ve always loved seeing that on buildings.  And the mist you have close to the ground adds even more to the atmosphere.  Thank you so very, unbelievably much for the countless tons of hard work that had to have gone into this picture to make it as good as it is.

Like the description says, these are my OCs created for the GNG and Maximo games.   Kokoro is a noble, pure, virtuous and mighty knight every bit as tough as her male counterparts in the GNG franchise.  For years she just aimlessly roamed around the world, vanquishing evil wherever she found it.  One day while roaming through a forest a dragon attacked her.  She won but was badly wounded.  Tadashi stumbled across her as he was looking for some medicinal herbs.  He took her home and healed her.  As he nursed her back to health, they became friends.  They started seeing each other more often and eventually fell in love.  They got married, but barely a week after the wedding Tadashi’s jealous ex-girlfriend Zahia showed up and kidnaped him.  After a long journey Kokoro saved him and now they are off on their honeymoon.

For a while I've been wanting to do a scene from a story where Kokoro is captured by some villains and Tadashi has to throw on some armor and go save her but loses it during battle.  I thought it would be fair to show him in the same situation Kokoro often finds herself in.  He does manage to save her, but not without some embarrassment for him.  This is the first time he’s ever fought in his underwear, and he’s not like those guys in the games who don’t care when they lose their clothes.  Kokoro has the same sense of modesty as him which is one of the reasons why they get along so well, but is more used to it by now having had much experience with it.  Besides that, another reason she’s not as embarrassed as him is that she’s wearing her favorite undergarments; heart print lingerie given to her by Tadashi as a reminder that no matter what happens she will always have his heart (plus her name means heart in Japanese).  She’s not embarrassed that she wears them nor to be seen wearing them because they represent true love, something she thought she would never have and now has in incredible abundance.  Why should she be embarrassed about that?  Anyways while fighting their way out Kokoro lost her armor too, making Tadashi feel a little less awkward but still not as confident as when he started out on his mission.  However, it wasn’t long before Kokoro’s words of encouragement gave him enough confidence to get through the last battle before they escaped.
