Description
On his strive for power, Zero Star now conquers the land. Absorbing a lot of different desert rahi gave him this body made for running long distances and kicking hard.The creation:
It was a funny start with this one. I wanted to build a cool hand, but after thinking too much about the right arm design, I ended up realizing that it would look much greater as foot xD
Everything else came up from itself, it was truly a lot of fun to build. It may not look as perfect constructed as most of my works, but I really like the way it came out nevertheless
Creators Notes:
Developing idea, constructing, perfecting, taking pictures, assembling pictures and uploading; all on one weekend! That's my personal record for mocing while studying xD
As the title says, this is Zero Stars stone element transformation. I don't have a fixed MOC of which he absorbed the powers, so I also have no MOC who inspired him, but there are some other things which inspired me. In addition to my usual alien-like style, I also wanted to give him a lizard-like look. Especially the back shot shows this well, in my opinion. I also wanted to build a stone element MOC, who has the same basic abilities as the old Pohatu models: kicking and running

My intention was more to go for the tail look, but you're right; I haven't grasped the technique to get the right tail look yet, retinence made it look way better on his Charizard MOC .
Oh yeah, this version is an old one by the way, what you think about the newer version? [link] I didn't really solve the tail problem there either, but anyways; what do you think about it?

I'm from germany, so I'm not so familiar with english word combinations and their meaning. Of course I heard 'ground zero', but we germans often just call it '11. September', so I'm not used to calling it ground zero, so I won't make a pun with it either. Maybe it was subconscious, I don't know ...

Anyway, great building here Alex. The colour distribution is superb (something I've been trying to focus on recently), but it's a pity those Hordika brains don't come in any other colours...

Hordika brains? ... Oh! You mean the fingers, don't you? Yeah, it's a pity, they're one of the most useful parts, but only come in the most useless color; dark gray

Yeah, I hoped the colors would come out as they are now, because it's difficult to place the Barraki the right way, so they work well together with the other colors.

This one's face confuses me. its like there's a face on a face. The domes are supposed to be his eyes right? Those are Mata shoulder armor right? Again, its interesting. You're right though, its not quite as well polished as most of your MOCs are, still great through. Where'd you get all the yellow and the mahri armor? And I didn't know the Mata feet came in Keetongu yellow. Happen to know what set that comes in?

Yeah, I think it was from the rider of the scopio robot, I think. The one who had the thing which Ground Star has on his head as mask. Normally, the Scopio set wasn't sold in europe (at least I never saw it in our stores), so I bought it from the USA when I upgraded Byorak.

Really? Hmmmm That's weird. I really want the Skopio set. I never got it cause it was too expensive. Now it goes for like 100+ dollars on ebay. Same with Mata-Nui Titan. I've seen that set go for $300 new. I can see paying that much as a collector who's not going to open the set and sell it later when its worth more, but for my purposes, it'd be better to find a used one that's complete and getting just the parts.

Yeah, I know what you mean, I'd really like to get the golden mask of him, but it's just not worth buying the set just because of the mask, the prices are just too high.
The scopio set wasn't that expensive, I think I got it for around 70, I think.

I want the whole set. THere was a lot of yellow parts on him that would be useful for Mototaur or other MOCs. But yeah, I want that mask to.
That was used right? I occasionally see one go for relatively cheap cause it used and either doesn't have to box or instructions, its just the parts.
Lucky you. You're gonna leave Us in the dust with all this parts acquisition. I just can't compete when you've got multiples of all these great parts, not that its a competition.
