This is the single most amazing piece of artwork I have seen on Deviant Art so far. It is hard to begin saying why, because every single detail shows real devotion to the subject. I particularly love the way you have done the chain mail and flag, but all of it leads into another dimension. The knight breathes, the English flag moves in the breeze and makes us part of the painting. That is a very difficult thing to master but you have done it. Remarkable artistry, truly remarkable.

This is incredibly awe-inspiring. I can see how much effort you put
into this piece, and it is that effort that I appreciate the most. The lighting
in the background, reflecting off the metal and other elements,
sets the mood wonderfully! He looks so beautifully majestic as he holds the flag,
and it's like I can literally see the wind that ripples the cloth. I especially love the detail
in the gloved hand and how it grasps the wooden pole.
This is just magnificent work my friend; really, and truly deserves an award
