When I saw that Erik become nominated to Best Protagonist and then Alex and Mark for Best Canon Relationship! This come to my head and I wanted to draw it!!!

I think the Daily Show made fun of an alleged nice dent in which the Romney family put their dog on a car seat on the roof while on a road trip (whether or not this is true is up to speculation).
