yes very easy to photograph there plus the background provides a very natural looking environment however the zoo does occasionally loose one of the flamingos, if the flamingo decided to check out the exhibit right next to theirs which happens to have a komodo dragon in it

Oh my!!!  Yikes!  Yes, I agree that the background is very lovely and natural looking.  I love flamingos and the ones at our zoo (the Indianapolis Zoo) look quite different from these.  I am able to get lots of water shots.  No komodo dragons though.
