WE DID IT! IT'S A BRAND NEW GAME! WE FREAKING HELL DID IT!Note I only added those characters that were not in the game... yet just for a extra. Whilst some did make it in the game, but as a Assist Trophy such as Shovel Knight & Bomberman. And Doom Guy became a Mii Costume.

The fact you put Lilac from Freedom Planet in this is why you get this in my favorites. ^^
I really feel that Lilac is a unique enough character to be a fighter in Smash Ultimate...even over Shovel Knight (he can be an assist trophy).

Even though Super Smash Bros Games doesn't have any Indie Game Character before. I only wanted to add the popular ones Shovel Knight & Lilac in it~.
Although it would be very difficult having those 2 playable characters in SSBU. Because they're Indie Game Characters, they never been in any Official Nintendo Game before.
But it would be surprising to see them in the game. 
Also Shovel Knight was a wanted playable character for a long time.

In terms of popular, Lilac is not as popular as say Steve/Minecraft.
The reason I would see Lilac as a fighter before Shovel Knight is because of her unique fighting style. Some of her moves can only be used when the Dragon Gauge is full which means you have to have some level of strategy to use her. Sakurai likes to add unique fighters with unique fighting styles.
As much as Shovel Knight is a unique fighter, he's more or less doing what Scrooge McDuck did in the Ducktales game that was on the NES initially. He looks for loot and beats bosses. I could see Shovel Knight using his shovel to dig for items and food is he was an assist trophy. That's just my opinion of course.
Also, both of them have a chance because they have appeared on a Nintendo Console and started out as video game characters.
Freedom Planet was announced for the Wii U before it went to Playstation and it's now announced for Switch in Fall of 2018. Not going on a tangent here, but I really would love to see her in Smash Ultimate. ^^

Well, Shadow was replaced by Knuckles as a assist trophy, I hope Infinite to be in Smash, Sonic would need a villain in his game series to fight in Ultimate

Despite Knuckles being a Assist Trophy it doesn't mean that Shadow has been replaced. He's most likely going to be a Assist Trophy again.
Maybe Infinite can be a Boss Character in a New Sonic Stage. I'm sorry..

It'll be interesting seeing what else is revealed in the coming months before release. My guess is that there will be a big Smash Direct before release, just like the Wii U one where they had a 50-Fact Extravaganza.
Looking through the comments, I couldn't help but see that Rayman is your most wanted character. I think that would be awesome myself (I played Rayman Legends and loved it!), and honestly thanks to good relations between Ubisoft and Nintendo it wouldn't come as a surprise if he made the roster. My personal biggest wishes are Shantae, Shovel Knight, and Simon Belmont. Even if they don't make the cut, I'm still interested in seeing who we do get!

Yeah they might probably show a Big Smash Direct before the game’s release like they did with Splatoon 2. And again it’s a Brand New Game.

I know the feeling about really wanting something for Smash and being anxious about it. Honestly, the thing I'm most anxious about is seeing what the single player will be like. I'm not much of an online player (although I just got into Splatoon 2 and that was fun!), so I want something decently meaty for me when I get off work and chill.
I have one big wish, my biggest wish for Smash Ultimate, and it's the thing I'm most anxious about...Adventure Mode. I've always been a sucker for adventures since I was little, and my favorite Nintendo characters going on a grand quest really appeals to me. I 100%ed Brawl's "Subspace Emissary" on Intense and enjoyed it warts and all. I'll even be happy if Ultimate's Adventure Mode is more straightforward like Melee's (much longer though). My dream is to have both kinds of Adventure Modes: a straightforward "Classic" and an epic "Story Mode." Not likely, but I can dream 
I knew about the rumor for Simon, and to be honest I could easily see it happening. The one who posted the rumor almost literally got everything else right, so I have a pretty good feeling about the Vampire Hunter. If so, it's my duty as a Castlevania fan to main him alongside Inkling Girl and Peach!

I know. It’s just. Rayman is one of my Favorite video game characters. And I would cry happily if he was in SSBU. Because he appeared once as a Trophy in SSB4... I want him as a New Playable Character.
Possibly all of the Modes could most likely return, hopefully a New Story Mode. And please for gods sake, REMOVE SMASH TOUR.

If all the modes returned that would be cool! Now I've never played Smash Wii U because I didn't own one, but I remember seeing Smash Tour and being underwhelmed. It's a pity because some have pointed out that there was some potential there in that you picked up Smashers to help you fight in the battle section (kinda like how you chose 6 characters to fight Tabuu in Brawl). It's an interesting mechanic, but Smash Tour probably wasn't the best way for it to be implemented (compared to Smash Run on 3DS). I wonder how you could make that work.
Yep, as I've said before I wanna main Inkling and Peach. I've heard people, including professional level Smashers, say that Inkling is a lot of fun to play as. From videos I've seen, he/she looks like a formidable force when handled right, and I hope they don't nerf her too much for the final release (but I played Peach in Brawl, so I can play low-tier characters as long as I'm having fun
I'll probably also try out Marth and Cloud for fun.

I have Melee, Brawl & 4 (Both Versions). I just didn’t like Smash Tour, it’s just a complete pain to me, it’s a freaking board game! I hope that Mode never returns. Please lord..
Smash Run could probably be in SSBU, but we’ll wait and see.

The only Smash game I've played extensively is Brawl. I tried the 3DS one, but I couldn't get a hang of the controls so I dropped it quickly. I even tried a free demo recently to see if I could change my mind and it's not for me. Ultimate will be the first Smash game I personally own.
As for Smash Run, that would be cool. I still prefer a full-on Adventure Mode with levels, cutscenes, end goals and such, but hey Smash Run is fine too!
I know for a fact that there will be at least some new stages. A Mario Odyssey stage is appearing (New Donk City complete with a singing Pauline has been shown briefly in Mario's character trailer), and a BotW tower stage was showcased. Now, since the main focus of the game is a celebration of every single Smash game ever, my guess is there won't be that many new stages. Instead the focus will be on revamping the older stages, giving them a fresh coat of paint (HD Peach's Castle looked tear-inducingly beautiful in my opinion!).

We may be getting all of the Original Stages from the previous 4 games. And we are most likely getting New Stages, like loads. I believe.

Cool! I think I technically tried Smash 4 first on 3DS, but Brawl was the first one I actually sat down and sank lots of time into. I know some people give it flak for being too casual and stuff, but I had lots of fun with it, especially with the single player. Brawl had such a good single player experience with Subspace Emissary, Classic Mode, the Challenges, and more.
I don't have the Wii anymore (left it with some acquaintances after I moved), but I do have a Nintendo Switch. So it'll be nice getting back into Smash again with Ultimate.
Since you own both Melee and Brawl, what are your thoughts on Adventure Mode from both games?

Regarding Target Smash, I couldn't say. I only played "Break the Targets" in Brawl. Wait...memory jolt. Wasn't Target Smash in SSB4 just firing a cannon at the targets and seeing how much you could blow up? I remember something like that and...yeah I could totally see that being underwhelming. Thinking about it is underwhelming XD.
Honestly, since this is Smash Ultimate, a culmination of everything Smash...maybe they'll bring both back. "Break the Targets" could come back in the Classic Mode for each character, but SSB4's thing could be like a side mini-game for fun or something in the Challenges Section, not a full-on mode. I honestly don't know what Sakurai has in store for us; anything goes at this point.
