now, i think this looks nice, i like the positioning of sonic himself compared to the background, and i feel like it sends a really nice mood! however, i feel as if the colors are a bit too bright, having them be less saturated would fit with the mood more.
i quickly edited an example here (
) and while it's not perfect, i think it looks nice personally.
please note that im just throwing this out here, and i don't think your art is bad! im just putting out ideas that would help make it look nicer
