Description
Sometime after the ship was remodeled and rebuilt Njordu suddenly took control over Galacta Knight and tries to kill Meta Knight again and nearly takes the whole ship down in the process. Luckily Stella manages to put Njordu to sleep but the incident has shaken everyone a bit and Meta Knight starts to wonder if it's really safe for Galacta Knight to be with them if Njordu is really starting to break through Stella's spells and can take over at anytime and attack them. Shortly afterwards they land on a planet to get supplies Stella and Dola hear something about someone called the 'Angel of Darkness' a powerful sorceress that's said to have control over a ancient and very powerful entity and some people say she has power over demons, including those that are possessing someone. Hearing this gives Stella hope for Galacta Knight and she and Dola go back to the others and tell them what they heard. It turns out Tatsumaki has heard a lot about the Angel of Darkness, she's heard that she is indeed very powerful and has heard she is one of Nightmare's most wanted and is almost impossible to find and those that found her were never seen again. Stella pleads with Meta Knight and the others to try and find her in hopes that she can remove Njordu from Galacta Knight and finally freeing him. After some persuading and the ideal of Galacta Knight not trying to kill him anymore Meta Knight finally agrees to try and find this Angel of Darkness. The others go into town to try to find a possible lead and strike some luck when they hear that she was last seen on a near by on a remote planet. They head out to the planet but are unknowingly being followed by Nightmare's ships. Soon they land on the planet, but though there's plenty of plant life and even some animal life, there's no sign of a civilized life anywhere on the planet. They search for sometime while all of them keep an eye on Galacta Knight, many of them are starting to become afraid to be near him. After a while they find no sign of the Angel of Darkness or any sign of intelligent life and most of them start to think she's not here when they're suddenly attack by several large Demon Beasts and begin to fight them off, they manage to defeat one but the other three were proving to be more of a challenge. Suddenly the Demon Beasts are attacked by a large Wolfwrath and are soon defeated. The crew don't have a chance to relax when the Wolfwrath turns to them and prepares to attack and they in turn prepare to fight back when a wall of light suddenly appears between them and Shappira makes her appearance. After being a bit hostile Shappira decides that they're really who they're saying there are and takes them to a safe place from the Demon Beasts. They reach a oasis that has a illusion around it to fool anyone looking for her or Kasai, the Wolfwrath. The crew soon tell Shappira that they're here looking for the Angel of Darkness to remove Njordu from Galacta Knight, so tells them that there isn't anyone like that here but Enelya can tell she's not telling them everything. Shappira tells them they can stay to rest but should leave before night falls. Enelya talks to Meta Knight and tells that she thinks Shappira is hiding something, and though Meta Knight does feel that same but since she saved them from the Demon Beasts believes that she doesn't mean them harm. Later around sunset the crew prepare to leave when a large group of Demon Beasts lead by some Nightmare's men appear and attack the group, they revile that they're after the Angel of Darkness. Some of the crew think that they're wasting their time while Enelya and Meta Knight look over at Shappira who has a weird look on her face. She immediately tells them to leave, at first they refuse to leave her to face these guys alone but she suddenly teleports them back to their ship. They still refuse to leave the planet and race back but the second they start back the sun completely sets and loud screech is heard that's so loud they're force to cover their ears. They race back as more screams are heard but the screams are from the Demon Beasts and start to wonder what could be happening over there. They soon arrive and get their answer. The Demon Beasts aren't fighting Shappira but a small army of black skin creatures with razor sharp claws and teeth lead by to reptilian like heads with what at first seem to be long necks and their winning. They watched stunned while the dark creatures easily destroy Nightmare's men and Demon Beasts but soon they turn their attention to them and attack. They fight them off but they never faced anything like them before, but Meta Knight noticed when he took out Galaxia that the Darklings covered their eyes and backed away and that the sword was very effective against them. As one of them tries to take down Ghost from behind Kasai fights them off, but things get worse when Njordu takes control again and starts attacking everyone, but when that happened the Darklings and the heads turn their full attention on Njordu. He tries to fight them off but suddenly a huge, black tentacle pins Njordu to the ground as the two heads move in and stare straight into Njordu's eyes. Their eyes start to glow blue and after a few second so does Njordu, suddenly Njordu loses conciseness and goes limb. They don't have time to wonder what just happened when the heads turn back to them. Each side prepares to attack when the Darklings and the heads suddenly stop and they turn back to a dark figure, it took the crew a moment to realize that it was Shappria but she was different, she had spikes coming out of her shoulder-pads, the flower on her head turn black and dead looking, and her eyes were pure red, but the scariest change was that they realize the head were coming from the back of her shoulder blades and several large tentacles out of her back. She stares at all of them as they try to get her to remember them, her turn back to gold and the heads and the Darklings back off and disappear and Shappira's form changes back to normal. They ask what just happened though Meta Knight and Enelya know, Shappira tells them that she is what everyone calls the Angel of Darkness, though she has no ideal how she got that name, she also explains that though she does have some control over the Darkness it has a will of it's own and can sometimes take control when she turns into her Dark Form and cause untold damage which is way she's always on the move and stays away from people and is hiding from Nightmare, who wants to control the Darkness for his own uses. They understand and promise not to tell anyone about her, though Stella does ask if she can remove Njordu from Galacta Knight, Shappira explains through the Darkness's eyes she saw that Njordu has possessed Galacta Knight for so long that their souls are too fused together to separate without killing him, but she can help Galacta Knight have better control over Njordu so he can't take over at anytime anymore. Both Galacta Knight and Stella agree and after that Galacta Knight has more control over Njordu. The next day the crew prepare to leave and ask Shappira if she and Kasai want to come with them to a new planet, she declines and says she has her own way of getting around. They say goodbye and the crew head off back into space.
