one other thing, APN techincally has a MINIMUM image dimension of 400px, which isnt strictly enforced, but your shots will look much better at say 600-800px on the longest dimension and more people will notice you.

I am sure you are right there, but I dont really want to shoot portraits or streetlife, I enjoy landscapes. As far as that goes there are only so man photographic locations I can reach by bike. Point taken.

well its not a matter of how easy it is, its whether I would enjoy it or not. Photography is a welcome escape for me and I have no interest in shooting portraits or cities. Whilst I would like my shots to be as varied as possible I am not going to force myself to shoot I dont want to just for the sake of it. My last few deviations have been from the same place because that was my last shoot before I came back to uni, but as far as that goes I will no doubt return to take some more.

yep theres been some good sunsets recently, get yerself a bike light you and your camera going over the handle bars is not cool...
