Wow this really is impressive! I'm a huge fan of macro shots because of all the details you can see. Keep it up!

It's sharp... and so detailed!! Last week I tried to photograph a spider, but it was so unsharp! This one is the absolute opposite of mine one.

Very impressive shot. I like the way you even managed to capture the reflection on the wing case. Nice and plain backgorund too with subtle colours. The only thing that I would suggest is, it may just be my screen, but there are parts, like at the rip and base of the leaf that look a bit washed out, so maybe darkening the photo could solve that. Overall a very impressive photo though

*bows* It's amazing how you pull of marvelous shots like this one, one after the other. It's truly insipring, and makes me wanna go outside and try to catch one of the many spider in my yard in action.

I love how the sun is lighting the scene also, what time of days was this?

Thanks. Spiders are well worth a try, though a bit skittish. In fact, this lady bird was a bit. After I got a coupe of test shots in it started turning around and thought it was going to fly off or just point it's rear end to the camera. Fortunately it just turned full circle and sat back down.

Looking at the EXIF info I shot this at 7.30 last night. It was pretty overcast, and I popped a bit of flash in to brighten it up a bit and get the shutter speed quicker.
