It's more of a metaphoric picture than anything else. Allen is a girl with crummy luck to be honest. Between the shadow messengers, her cover as a student, her work as a professional thief for a mysterious collector, being unable to use her magic, and that damn man attempting to control her every move (he's not very successful at it, Allen has a problem with these things called rules) She feels as though she's a marionette doll; someone else always pulling the strings in her life.
What ties her to this life style? A contract, one made from magic and blood, unbreakable, and, unfortunately, very flexible.

Well kind-of sort-of~ I have the first chapter online and two short comics. I've been thinking about turning it into a full blown web comic, but I have a couple of things to do before I can focus on it~ (curse my slower than average work pace! XD)

It certainly is entertaining. Though it was really bad on friday, I went to see the musical "Catch Me If You Can" and during the number "Don't Break The Rules" Allen just jumps up on stage and starts mocking the agents! I swear, every opportunity she gets, she bleeding takes it XD

Yes I did have a lot of fun at the play. I really love them too, they're just so enjoyable and give me a lot of.... interesting ideas XD

I decided I'd try something different other than the night backdrop. It was actually the easiest part, the ropes were bleeding difficult.

You know, it's funny, I didn't even think of it as a stage until you mentioned it XD. But it makes perfect since, after all, she puts on an act with everybody she knows, the only time she's truly herself is when she's by herself which is never, so she always has a front on~

Well, I don't know what it means for other people, (I guess I should look into it) but I use it as a form of punctuation. Indicating that I'm ether drawing out a word or trailing off~
I just find it more interesting than the ( -- ) or the ( ... ) or normal means of punctuation.
(that and I like the way it looks XD)

It's called a Tilde, used in mathematical formula's meaning approximately and a hell of a lot of other things too~ XD
I'm not sure how it is used in computer language or what it is used for otherwise, more research is required. But for now, I have a name and some functions...
