Funny as it seems, I thought of bringing back Ash's pet Lucario, Ricky back in the scene too.

Oh yeah. In story plot wise:
Ricky lost his ability to Talk, and was kicked out of his Home,.
To the same events, Ash went to talk to the Landlord's co-worker, but even he couldn't do anything about it.
As it's also explained, Crystal went back to her home planet,
And Redd/Dusk, went back to his own World, afew weeks before Ricky got kicked out.
(Which Dusk comes from Hell btw.)
