I drew this picture by observing A photo I had taken when was in Japan. The drawing is of the restaurant and garden Ganko takasegawa nijoen. The building itself was made back in 1611. I decided to draw the modern building in a light shade to emphasize the forefront. Created with Caran D’ache pencils (grafwood, Swiss wood, Crayons de la maison), Mitsubishi Hi & kohitsu shosha,Staedtler Mars Lumograph, and Blackwing pencils.Drawn on an 8x10 Canson multimedia artboard.
