This scares me a bit, for some reason. I think it's the eyes - reminds me a bit of something out of A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin... a bit creepy, and not sure whether it's evil or not...
But this is so neat. I love the wildness of the two horses in the back, and especially the fuzzy leaves.

Beautiful job. I love autumn....mostly cause its the prelude to winter, but this is snazzy. I like the atmospheric feel to it. Makes me kinda wanna roll around in a pile of leaves. lol

I really love the glowing eyes and nostrils. It adds a really nice effect to the piece! And the gentle orangish tones really bring it all together.

Oooo, with how their eyes and noses are, and with little bits of light that matches them in the rest of the picture, and the overall brownish color of the piece, it makes me think of a forest fire and the fire's glow reflecting in their eyes and the moisture of their nostrils as they throw them open to breath through the exertion of fleaing the fire and the weight of the smoke!

this gives the effect of a movie still. I love how you've avoided the cliches of reds golds etc and gone for a much more muted autumnal scheme, it's not brown and boring at all and the blue eyes and random sparkles give it a real lift. (course we don't really get red and gold autumns anyway do we... more like brown and soggy ones with slippy wet leaves. hah.)

Wonderful late autumn feel in this. The falling leaves really add something to it. The cold blue in the horses makes they look like winter rushing in.

I think so too. Some people wish everyone to understand their work exactly the way they understand it themselves but I think it's always more interesting when people see several different things in your work, even something you didn't mean with it at all.

Its actually Corel Painter IX, I have adobe as well, but i prefer corel as it gives a far more painterly look

what's cool about this is you look at it and you actually get some of the cold, autumn-y smells in your nostrils. i really miss autumn. some of the best smells are from there. sorry; synesthesia's getting to me again. but this really truely looks like it could be an autumn day, sometime in october a hundred years ago. very pretty. ^^

Definitely hearting the fuzzy leaves.
I'd have to say that although this picture'd look great in a movie or something, for a frozen image, it looks as if it's lacking a definite point the eyes can focus on.
The blue in the horses is a great touch, but I'd accentuate that just a tad more. (And make the foremost horse fit in with the background a bit more. Perhaps define that area a little more.)
