This is beautiful. To me, it screams of innocence lost; of being forced to shed your childish wings of fantasies and dreams to become rooted in the adult world. It's like watching a Disney movie where the Beast turns into a handsome prince and he and Belle live happily ever after - you desperately want to find that love; only to find it doesn't exist. It's a memento mori - a reminder that we all die. Wow...that's a really depressing thought... But really; this is a very well-taken image with just the right touch of fire and thought. Beautiful, Lovely, touching, deep. Even though I understand your concept for this photo and your personal life etc. Always remember though you NEVER loose your freedom (the point of view just changes slightly, when our world changes). Freedom of spirit is more important than Freedom of body & new adventures always await! It just lies in new unexpected ways.

It's a great photo but the feather upright makes it looks weird unnatural make next time give it a slight angle.
